It is a great honor to help folks learn to heal and help themselves, and experience a felt sense of repair  to the parts of them that are hurting through the process of therapy. I offer trauma-informed, relational therapy for adult individuals who are ready to address and  heal traumatic past experiences, are seeking relief from anxiety or depression, are in a grief process, and/or are seeking support in navigating transitions in life. I also offer psychedelic preparation and integration for folks preparing for — or returning from — an inward journey.

My approach is collaborative, experiential and integrative- drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, mindfulness and somatic exploration.  Our work will support you in getting to know and understand the full spectrum of your being, bringing clarity, relief, and a sense of wholeness to your life. The work may also include learning skills that help you regulate your emotions, create healthy boundaries, improve your communication and/or teach your nervous system to inhabit a new baseline of calm and rest. The space we co-create will welcome tears, laughter, rage—whatever needs to be expressed and witnessed. All of you is welcome here.

Partnering with a network of vetted prescribers, I provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for those medically assessed as good candidates for this powerful treatment for treatment-resistant depression, trauma, anxiety, and addiction. Remote KAP lets you journey from the comfort of your own home, with a chaperone present and me with you on screen throughout. Each round moves through preparation, a dosing session, and integration timed to the peak of ketamine's neuroplastic window. Read more about how KAP works and my offerings here.

For those called to something deeper, I am available for in-person KAP through personal healing retreats on Hawaiʻi Island. If you already live on the Big Island and would like to discuss the possibility of in-person dosing sessions in your home, feel free to inquire.

Hi, I'm Eva Lyons.

I believe that our minds and hearts, like our bodies, possess an innate wisdom and ability to heal, given the right environment and structure. Sometimes we get stuck in old patterns and beliefs that helped us in the circumstances we learned them in, but need to be updated in order to allow us to fully embody our best, most authentic and empowered selves. Therapy can assist us in learning more about what automatic programs our system is running, and give us the tools to make these changes.
I collaborate with clients with warmth and curiosity about their inner world in a nonjudgmental way.

I am a nonbinary, queer, neurodivergent human. Before Hawaiʻi, I lived in Northern California and the Bay Area for over twenty years — San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, and the greater Bay Area are home to me, and to many of the people I still work with. I serve clients anywhere in California and throughout the Hawaiian Islands — Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, and here on Hawaiʻi Island — via telehealth.

I currently live in Hawaiʻi as a guest on Kanaka Maoli land, where I try my best to live in accordance with the spirit of aloha. I tend to a small homestead with my two cats. I love music, dancing, and a good book. Nature is my greatest resource and inspiration, and the relationship with nature is one I often help clients connect to as part of our work.

I offer a free 20-minute video consultation for us to get a sense of each other and see if we're a good fit.
